What do I need to register?

To register for free, all you need is a valid e-mail address, and Member ID and password, plus your name, company name and country.

Once you've registered, you can use this same Member ID and password for all Amb2b Online products and services.

How do I register?

Registration to Amb2b is simple and fast:

  1. Click on the Join Now link below the login bar at the top-right corner of the homepage.
  2. Select your country or territory and Member ID, password and Email.
  3. Complete the contact information form and company information form.
  4. click the submit Button.
  5. You will then receive a Registration Confirmation Email. Please follow the instructions to verify your registered Email address.

What are the guidelines for choosing a password?

Your password for Amb2b is case-sensitive. We suggest the following general guidelines for creating passwords:

Why do I get the error "This E-mail Address already exists" or "This Member ID is currently used" when I enter my e-mail address or Member ID?

This means someone has already registered for Amb2b Online with that particular e-mail address or Member ID.

What is "Remember my ID on this computer"?

If you check the "Remember my ID on this computer" box, you will never have to re-enter your user name or password in order to search for products and suppliers or to make inquiries. (Unless you consciously decide to log out because you are using a shared computer, or unless you delete your cookies from your PC.)

You can browse other sites, read and answer e-mail, even shut down your PC. When you return to Amb2b, you will automatically be reconnected. Nothing could be more convenient.

Important: Do remember your Member ID and password. For your protection, we will ask you to re-enter your password when you access certain personalized areas of the site, such as your Product Alert settings, Member Profile and Notifications settings.

Should I check "Remember my ID on this computer" or not?

If you are not using a shared computer, we recommend you check it to facilitate ease of use.

However, if you're concerned that other people might accidentally see your pages, don't check the "Remember me" box.

If you use a shared computer (in a library, Internet cafe, university, airport or other common area), we also recommend that you do not check the "Remember me" box.

What if I change my mind?

You can log out of the website at any time by clicking the "Logout" link in the left navigation bar. Once you've logged out, you can login again and choose whether your browser remembers you or not.

What is Business Type?
Business type means the primary role the company engages in within its trading sector. Amb2b.com currently recognizes five major business types: agent, buying office, distributor/wholesaler, and manufacturer and trading company.

What is an Agent?

A business person or company who buys or sells for another in exchange for a commission.

What is a Manufacturer?

A producer of products.

What is a Distributor? A trading company, like an agent, is the party between a buyer and supplier/manufacturer that arranges for the production and shipment of products.

A business person or company that markets or sells merchandise.

What is a Wholesaler?

A wholesaler sells products in bulk to various retailers and then receives a percentage of the mark-up price. In other words, a wholesaler buys directly (and usually rather inexpensively) from the manufacturer and then arranges a deal with a retailer who desires to purchase the same product.

After registration, you must verify the Email and activate your member account. Otherwise you cannot sign in Amb2b.com.

Important:

After registering, we recommend that you go to your Member Profile page and complete your contact and company information. This ensures that these details are pre-completed in the form each time you send an inquiry. Plus providing more details in a format they are used to receive, helps suppliers send more focused and appropriate answers to your needs or requests.

To do this make sure you are logged into the site. The Member Profile link will only appear in the left navigation bar after a successful login.
